Disaster ServicesAmerican Red CrossAll chapters provide assistance to disaster victims; services to military families and disabled veterans. Collects and distributes blood and blood products to hospitals. Provides community educational programs in health, first aid, water safety and CPR. Maintains 24-hour emergency service for military emergencies and disasters. Maintains a list of interpreters in foreign languages. Is a local unit of the American National Red Cross. Some fees are charged for instructional courses. There are no fees for disaster services or services to military families.
