United Way's Calendar Page provides information on the upcoming events of our Partner Agencies and other non-profits.  Due to space limitations we are unable to list ongoing volunteer training sessions at our agencies.  We encourage you to visit individual agency websites for that information.

July 16 - NASA STEM Program (Science/Technology/Engineering/Math) - 11am-2pm, YWCA of the Virginia Peninsula, 2702 Orcutt Avenue, Newport News.  A NASA STEM representative will provide an overview of NASA, career paths, and a STEM activity.  Free lunch will be served.  For information call 245-6026.

August 9 - YWCA Career Presentation - 5:30pm, YWCA, 2702 Orcutt Avenue, Newport News.  Trooper Boone of the Virginia State Police will discuss career opportunities and the recruitment process for the Virginia State Police.  For information call 245-6026.
